Chad Burgess

Founding Partner

Chad has experience in entrepreneurship, operations, and finance. His background includes positions tied to Investment Banking, Angel Funding, IoT Start-Ups, and as a co-founder in his own company. He completed his MBA at NYU Stern, with focuses in Entrepreneurship & Innovation and Financial Instruments & Markets. While pursuing his MBA, he worked with the NYU Stern Family Office Council in a broader campaign to connect academics, students, and a network of family offices through ongoing efforts at great universities like NYU, Stanford, and others.

Prior to his work in finance, Chad studied Agribusiness, honing in on alternative energy production at the farm level, at Texas A&M University, and was called to service in 2008 as a Combat Engineer Officer in the U.S. Army.  While in Afghanistan, he was made a Battle Captain in charge of overseeing plans, synchronizing operations, and the daily mission execution for 1200 troops. After leaving the Army, Chad managed factory material flow, overseeing up to 60 Unionized Employees for John Deere, where he negotiated with the union to institute new processes that increased inventory accuracy and decreased total workforce hours needed.
