Quake’s monthly University Investor Series (UIS) is a virtual pitchfest where student entrepreneurs from around the world present to a panel of top seed and early stage investors. After each startup has presented, the top-performing companies, as determined by our investor panel, will advance to a final round where they will be eligible for $200,000 in funding from Quake ($3.75M valuation cap) and early acceptance into Quake's accelerator program in any geographic location.
The top 2-3 teams from each Series are invited to attend our Elite Series, which occurs once every three months. Out of every Elite Series, one team will be chosen to receive a real-money $200,000 investment from Quake's seed fund and early acceptance into our accelerator program.
Each pitchfest brings in 10 promising college startups from around the world. One student spokesperson from each team has six minutes to pitch their idea and four minutes for Q&A and feedback from experienced venture investment professionals.
After the pitch, each team will receive analytical feedback from our judging panel. The panel includes members of the Quake team, investors from other seed and early stage funds, and industry professionals that work in the startup space.
If you have an early stage company looking to develop market leading products, services and solutions, then Quake can help. UIS is open to all current matriculated university students and recent college graduates (up to 3 years) that are founders of an active, operating company with an MVP or working prototype. We can provide the capital, tools and expertise to make your vision a reality.
If you are interested in learning more about up-and-coming startups and making a difference in their growth, apply to be a judge. Positively influence young founders and become part of Quake's growing mentor network. With many success stories that have previously completed the UIS program, these companies could be your next big client or investment.
