On February 9th, entrepreneurs, investors, and USC students and alumni alike poured into the Ronald Tutor Campus Center at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles for USC’s Demo Day 2018. This event led the newest wave of USC entrepreneurship, featuring 40 USC student- and alumni-created companies ready to change the world.
The agenda included several networking opportunities and panels, including an investor panel and a pitch event. Demo Day presentations also included a brief slot for Quake to help entrepreneurs understand the resources it offers, including Quake’s Los Angeles accelerator.
To recap, Quake is an industry agnostic seed capital fund and accelerator program that provides each company accepted into the 12-week program with a $150,000 investment, mentorship, and many other amazing perks. Quake’s new LA office is just 7 minutes away from the USC campus.
The program kicks off this summer on June 4th, and early decision applications are due by March 11th, with final applications due by April 2nd. Please see here for more details.
